I’ve made my second art demonstration video for my Youtube channel. It’s called How to paint a pair of shoes. They’re my favorite Birkenstock sandals painted on a small canvas board with acrylics.
The first video I posted was “How to draw a pair of Shoes” which started as a pencil drawing and almost turned into a painting. This art demonstration video started as a shoe painting and almost turned into a drawing as I started using acrylic markers.
The art demonstration videos are a lot of fun to do. They’re probably not the best “How to videos” around but I have been adding text to them, so you could follow along if you wish.

Oh, somebody mentioned the wide angle lens problem of my last drawing video. I have mostly solved it with the video editing software. I’m using a Sony action camera so it’s probably not the best tool for the job but it’s all I have for now. I have an older digital SLR camera but it doesn’t even have video on it.
I also posted a sixty second version of the video on Instagram here. It’s the maximum time allowed and it has to be in a different format to the one posted on youtube, which is frustrating!
