I posted another painting demonstration on my Youtube channel recently. It’s my third one now and it’s more footwear! Subscribers to my channel will be starting to think that I have a shoe fetish soon as I’ve posted nothing but shoes! hehe
This time I have painted a pair of Stan Smith sneakers by adidas. Honestly I’m not a sneaker head and I don’t have a shoe fetish, but I do like painting and drawing shoes.
I’ve called them Esradas shoes as they belong to Esra and she works at adidas. She has worked there for a long time and wears lots adidas gear and that’s how the Esradas name came about.
Also, just to prove that I’m not a sneaker head, I have no idea who Stan Smith is. I’m assuming he’s a runner or athlete of some description though. All I know is that they’re Stan Smith shoes from adidas and they’re very popular.
It’s another small painting in acrylics as I’m still in Istanbul and have limited space. It’s 20 x 20cm which is exactly 7.87402 inches square according to Google. I’m not sure why we can’t all agree to use one measuring system, but we are people and we’re retarded by nature, so I can forgive us..lol 😜
Back to the shoe painting video though. This time around I have done 3 versions of the same video. The normal default video which is about 10 minutes long. Then there’s a 1 minute long version which I made to post on Instagram as they require a different format and you can only post videos that are less than 60 seconds long. And finally someone asked how long it actually took me to paint and suggested I do an unedited version which turned out to be 50 minutes long.
I’m surprised anyone at all would watch such a long video but a few people have. I’m told it’s relaxing to watch creative people work, so I have become a goldfish tank basically.
