I haven’t been updating my site with my 30 pen drawings in 30 days but I have been drawing the pictures. See my Instagram account here for them. I’ll try to start posting them here on my blog though as I’m thinking I should be a little more active online.
The pen drawing from day six was of my friend’s kitten Kasik. I was looking after her house for a couple of days and saw Kasik sitting in the middle of her bed looking all cute and cuddly, but by the time I grabbed my sketchbook and started drawing her she had moved to the side of her bed where I could hardly even see her anymore. But still, I continued drawing and I guess it became an interior drawing rather than a cat drawing.

The photograph of the drawing is pretty average too as I took it on a dark and rainy day with my iPhone and didn’t know how to turn the flash off. I probably should have taken another photograph when I got home!
Anyway, that’s Kasik the little kitten sleeping on the left hand side of the bed. It’s actually a big dog bed as my friend has 3 big dogs too.
Everybody was sleeping in the house at this time. Three dogs and ten cats (give or take a few cats on any given day). They had all eaten, all become tired of playing and fighting, and were now all still and quiet for the first time that day. So I drew.
